Do you want to help organisations to become more carer friendly? Do you want to make new friends? Gain new skills and be involved in making the vision of the Carers Charter a reality? Then get involved in Investors in Carers.

There are a number of ways to get involved:

Investors in Carers Charter Champion:

These are volunteers working within organisations undergoing the accreditation. They are responsible for championing the vision of the Charter at a strategic level and delegating action though their organisations. Championing the vision of the Charter and making it a reality. 

Investors in Carers Advisory Group:
This group acts as a critical friend to Investors in Carers shaping the way the Charter is used to work with organisations and using their own experiences to make Kirklees a better place for Carers.  

Investors in Carers Carer Charter Panel:
This is a panel of volunteer carers who are trained and developed in the Investors in Carers accreditation scheme. They are responsible for awarding the organisations who wish to be accredited the Carers Charter Mark. 

Investors in Carers Ambassadors: 
These are Carer volunteers who believe in the ethos and values of the Charter. With the support of Investors in Carers these volunteers work alongside organisations sharing their experiences of being a Carer and helping organisations on their journey to becoming Carer Friendly.
